Tabor men beat St. Gregory 61-59 for first win

The Tabor College men’s basketball team struggled to find the basket in the first half of Saturday’s game against St. Gregory, but shot 50 percent in the second half to pick up their first win of the season with a 61-59 win over the Cavaliers.



At the end of the first half, the Bluejays trailed 29-21.



The Bluejays got a big lift in the second half from junior gaurd Kyle Kopper who poured in 18 points, including four second half 3-pointers that helped lead the Bluejays to the win.



Tabor will travel to Hays Tuesday to take on Fort Hays State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
