Tabor beats Mid-America 72-70

The Bluejays got out to a 34-25 lead in the first half Saturday afternoon in Sterling to shut down Mid-America Bible.



Down the stretch, Mid-America battled back and threatened late, but the Bluejays thwarted off the comeback and picked up their second win of the year.



Tabor shot 45 percent from the field and from the 3-point line for the game.



Angela Kroeker led the Tabor offensive attack with 25 points, eight rebounds and two assists.



Rachelle Speers added 22 points and four assists in the winning cause.



Tabor hosts Newman University Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
