Curtis Stephens and Ashley Ellis announce the birth of a son, Jayten Don Stephens, Oct. 30 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.
He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.
Maternal grandmother is Tina Bassett of Fredonia. Paternal grandmother is Debbie Stephens of Florence.
Maternal great-grandparent is Jesse Durbin of Fort Scott. Paternal great-grandparents are Robert and Shirley Winn of Howard and Richard and Gene Stephens of Fredonia.
