DEATHS: Helen Hiebert, 92

Helen Ensz Hiebert, a homemaker, died Oct. 13 in Hillsboro.


The funeral was held Oct. 17 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church with pastors Tim Sullivan and Roy Keller officiating. Burial was at Gnadenau Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.


She was born Aug. 4, 1909, to Abraham G. Ensz and Margeretha Klassen in Hillsboro. On Nov. 13, 1932, she was married to Albert Hiebert, who predeceased her in 1984.


She is survived by two sons, Allen Hiebert and wife Lois, and Ron Hiebert and wife Marilyn, all of rural Hillsboro; two daughters, Aldene Schneider and husband Marvin, of Walnut Hill, Fla., and Joyce Funk and husband Virgil of Topeka; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.


Memorials were established at Mennonite Central Committee and Parkside Homes.
