ORIGINALLY WRITTEN DON RATZLAFF
When we published the first issue of the Free Press a little more than three years ago, we set high goals that we wanted to achieve-for our benefit and yours. We stated those as clearly as we could through a mission statement as well as specific values that we felt we owed our readers if we deserved a chance to serve this community and county.
Three-plus years have passed. During this “National Newspaper Week” it seems prudent to publish them again. We want you to know our vision and tell us how you think we’re doing-after all, your evaluation means more to us than our own. We look forward to serving you for many more years to come.
