Sarah Haslanger and Jason Hoskinson announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect’s mother is Rosemary Carta, from Madison, Wis. Her father is Phil Haslanger and her step-mother is Ellen Reuter, also both from Madison, Wis.
The groom-to-be’s parents are Hal and Barb Hoskinson from Topeka.
The groom-to-be’s grandparents are Alton and Evelyn Matz from Lincolnville.
The bride-elect attends University of Kansas and is majoring in physical therapy.
The groom-to-be also attends KU and is majoring in engineering.
The couple will be married in the Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church in Topeka, on Oct. 5. They will reside in Lawrence.
