SPORTS FLASH: Marion clips Minneapolis in opener

The Marion Warriors used a late passing attack to down the Minneapolis Lions 21-14 in their home opener Friday.



Marion went into the locker room at half tied with the lions 14-14.



Both offenses struggled in the third quarter.



Late in the fourth quarter quarterback Jared Smith hit Jason Matz for a 35-yard reception that would later lead to a game winning touchdown catch by Braxton Skiles.
