Francis and Eva Flaming will mark their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26, at the Garden Township Mennonite Church.
Francis Flaming and Eva Driedger were married Aug. 27, 1961, in Rothern, Sask. The couple own and operate Flaming’s Heating & Air Conditioning out of Goessel and Marion. They started the business in 1973 along with their two sons.
Hosting the open house will be the Flaming’s children: Angie and Keith Heide of Hutchinson, Merle and Michelle Flaming of McPherson, and Steve and Kim Flaming of Kansas City, Mo. The Flamings have nine grandchildren.
The Garden Township Mennonite Church is located at 6520 N. Halstead Road, or four and one-half miles west and one and one-half mile south of Hesston.
The couple request no gifts.
