WEDDINGS: Funk, Buller celebrate marriage

Letha Funk and Shane Buller, both of Goessel, were married at 5:30 p.m. May 28 at Tabor Mennonite Church.


Pastor Corey Miller officiated the double-ring ceremony.


Parents of the couple are Darwin and Kimberly Funk and Larry and Brenda Buller, all of Goessel.


Maid of honor was Darla Funk of Goessel. Best man was Lane Brown of Goessel.


Bridesmaids were Mandy Edginton of Lakin, Megan Schmidt of Goessel, Amy Krehbiel of Pretty Prairie and Aimee Kendall of Jonesboro, Ark.


Groomsmen were Jeremy Schroeder and Kyle Funk, both of Goessel, and Rob Gilchrist and Marvin Perry, both of Laramie, Wyo.


Guestbook attendants were Suzanne Jost of Hillsboro and Pamela Abrahams of Goessel.


Musicians included the following: Russel Adrian of Butterfield, Minn., pianist; David Baker of Hillsboro, vocalist and guitarist; and Darla Funk of Goessel, vocalist.


The bride wore an ivory gown with a spaghetti-strapped bodice with a carriage back skirt accented with beaded lace. Her semi-cathedral-length train also was accented with beaded lace and when detached, featured appliqued tulle under the satin pick-up skirt.


Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the courtyard of the church, hosted by Duane and Janna Duerksen of Goessel.


The bride graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Bethel College in May.


The groom graduated from the University of Wyoming in December 2000. He is employed by Bradbury Co. in Moundridge.


The couple took a honeymoon to Banff, Alberta, Canada.


The couple lives in Moundridge.
