Senior Scribbles

Cathy Fish will be a special guest at the Senior Center on Thursday, July 19. She will speak on a selection of books she has brought from the library for seniors to read. Her “book look” is scheduled after lunch on that day.

Mary McFadden, registered nurse, will be available for foot care and blood pressures also on Thursday beginning at 10 a.m.

There is a change in the Center calendar for Monday, July 16. The program originally scheduled for that day is unavailable, however, “No More Headaches” is the video that will be viewed after lunch.

Wednesday, July 18 is covered dish day at the Center. Postmaster Norman Bouwie will bring a program on the new post office and other current postal matters. Post office service is available beginning at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at noon. Bring food and friends.

Kitchen: Gladys Jantz, Velda Hiebert, Irma Koop, Irma Groening, Judy Malin, Liz Ryding, Shirley Weibert, Lydia Pankratz, Mariann Unruh, Erma Pankratz, Nellie Jost, Mildred Harding, Vi Suderman, and Fern Unruh.

Meal drivers: Roger and Lorraine Shumaker, Velber Bevan, Paul Ediger, and Harold Jost.

FISH transportation: Eldon Knak, Ethel Bartel, Betty Bernhardt, Albert Fedenrecht, and Gladys Schmidt.
