Charles Robert “Bob” Druse, 66, retired from U.S. Air Force and Marion County Highway Department, died July 1 at his home in Topeka.
The graveside service and burial were July 3 at the Marion Cemetery with pastor Larry King officiating.
He was born Sept. 22, 1934, to Charles and Palma (Young) Druse in Marion County. On Oct. 16, 1955, he was married to Patricia Dewitt, who survives.
He also is survived by a son, Douglas Druse of Topeka; a daughter, Anita of Salina; four brothers, James Druse of El Dorado, Thomas Druse of Enid, Okla., Donald Druse of Marion and Ronald Druse of Topeka; and three grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society and Topeka Hospice.
