Ashley Unrau of Goessel and Bobby DeBusk of Winfield were married May 19 in a double-ring ceremony at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel, with pastors Jim Dunn and Wes Davis officiating.
Parents of the couple are Lynel and Vickie Unrau of Goessel, Larry and Theresa Hawn of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Robert DeBusk of Riverton.
Brianna Unrau served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janel Fenster, Stacia Dirks and Kylene Roberts. Junior bridesmaid was Elyse Terry, and flower girl was Kallen Terry.
Nick Bahner was the best man. Groomsmen were Paul Bryan, Woody Woodward, Brett Beatty and Chad Unrau. Junior groomsman was Dylan Terry.
Ushers were Ty Unrau, Ben DeBusk, Scott Flaming and Zane Unrau. Program attendants were Jared and Christine DeBusk. Guestbook attendants were Shellie White and Tara Unrau.
Musicians Peter and Lucia Terry , who played the guitar and piano, and vocalist Seth Roe provided music.
The bride wore an A-line gown, designed by St. Patrick’s, with a square neckline and delicate spaghetti straps that crossed in the back. The medium length train was decorated in simple silver and clear beadwork.
The bride’s bouquet consisted of two calla lilies surrounded by garden flowers, greens and twigs.
The church was decorated with a garden-flower arch way and tulle and ivy.
A reception following the ceremony was held in the church. Vance and Candy Unrau served as host and hostess.
The bride graduated from Goessel High School in 1998 and is a junior at Friends University in Wichita, where she is an elementary education major.
The groom is a 1995 graduate from Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Va. He attended Pittsburg State University. He is pastor of Walnut Valley Church in Winfield.
The couple took a honeymoon to Eureka Springs, Ark. They reside in Winfield.
