Norma Jean Bartel Pinter, 69, church and community worker, died May 7 in Oreland, Pa.
A memorial service was held May 28 in the chapel of the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
She was born April 11, 1932, to Emil and Martha Duerksen Bartel on a farm west of Hillsboro. In 1974, she married Albert Pinter, who survives.
She is also survived by a sister, Frieda and husband Elmer Wall of Hillsboro, and a brother, Earl Bartel and wife Elizabeth of Hillsboro
