ORIGINALLY WRITTEN STAFF
The first clue in the second annual Hillsboro Folk Festival Medallion Hunt will be published in the Free Press next week.

The hunt is sponsored by the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and includes a $300 prize in cash and certificates redeemable at the sponsoring businesses to the first person who finds the medallion.

Additional clues can be found daily at the downtown businesses that have a medallion poster in the window. Two new clues will be released each day.

The following businesses are participating: Ampride, Bouchers Red Barn Antiques, Country Haven Inn, Hillsboro Free Press, Nancy’s Fashions, Quick Flick/Radio Shack, Real Estate Center, Inc., Sunflower Office Products/Kitchen Corner, Thee Bookstore, Total Home Repair & Appliance and Vogt’s IGA.

Following are the rules of the hunt:

— No digging, defacing of property.

— Medallion will be public property within Hillsboro city limits (not in a residential area).

— The Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for accidents.

— Members of the Chamber Promotions Committee, and their family members, are not eligible to win.

— Call the Chamber of Commerce office at 620-947-3506 if you find the medallion.

For more information or questions, call the Chamber at the number listed above.
