WEDDINGS: Babcock, Spachek wed February, 17

Kathi Ann Babcock, Boynton Beach, Fla. and Bart Anthony Spachek, also of Boynton, were married Feb. 17, at the St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Delray Beach, Fla. with Rev. Brian Horgan officiating the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Wanda and Richard Babcock, West Warwick, R.I. and Helen and Robert Spachek, Lincolnville. Grandparents of the groom are John Spachek, Pilsen, and Clara Huelskamp, Fowler.

Cheryl Engels of Wakefield, R.I. served as maid of honor with Nola Fennessy, Portland, Maine; Nora Lemieux, Lynnfield, Mass.; Kristin McGrath, West Kingston R.I.; and Diane Simas, Johnston, R.I. as bridesmaids.

David Spachek, Wichita; Jeff Spachek, Sulphur Spring, Texas; and Kurt Spachek, Marion, all brothers of the groom served as best men.

Michael Spachek, Wichita, nephew of the groom, served as Junior groomsman, and Rick Babcock, West Warwick R.I., brother of the bride, Troy Rundle, Naperville, Ill.; and Maury Wilmoth, Carpentersville, Ill. served as groomsmen.

Abigail Spachek, Sulphur Springs, Texas and Monica Spachek, Marion, both nieces of the groom were flower girls.

The ringbearers were Jacob Spachek, Marion, and Reed Spachek, Wichita, both nephews of the groom.

Alissa Ruzanski, Attleboro, Mass., god-daughter and cousin of the bride served the couple as the guest book attendant.

The vocalist was Rita D. Bolling and Lillian Kollar, organist.

The bride’s gown was a white sheath gown by Jasmine Haute Couture which had venetian lace and crystal beadwork. The tule veil was a full-length veil. She carried a bouquet of two dozen white and off-white roses.

The reception dinner and dance was held at the Boca Country Club, Boca Raton, Fla.

The bride graduated from Coventry High School, Coventry R.I., and received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and a master’s degree from Northeastern University. She is self-employed.

The groom graduated from Centre High School, Lincolnville, and received a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University. He is also self-employed.

Following the honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Boynton Beach.

A rehearsal dinner beach party was held at the Cabana Club for all out of town guests in Delray Beach, Fla.
