A happy bunch of Hillsboro Trojans pose with the championship plaque they earned Saturday night with a hard-fought 62-50 win over Hesston in the finals of the Class 3A sub-state tournament at Southeast of Saline High School. With the win, the Trojans won a berth in the state tournament in Hutchinson. Hillsboro, seeded third in the state tournament at 20-2, is scheduled to play tonight at 8:15 p.m. against Conway Springs at the Hutchinson Sports arena.
