DEATHS: Luella Schultz, 84

Luella Schultz, 84, Hillsboro, died at her home Jan. 7. She was a homemaker.


Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Dave Plett officiating. Burial was at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.


Schultz was born July 22, 1916, to Isaac and Emma Neufeld Harms in Boyd, Okla. On Jan. 9, 1943, she married to Hubert P. Hampton, who predeceased her in 1943. On Feb. 4, 1950, she was married to Robert Schultz, who predeceased her in 1973.


She is survived by a daughter, Sandra and husband Merrill Schmidt of rural Goessel; two sons, Wallis Schultz of Goessel and Lendell Schultz of Hillsboro; two sisters, Ruby Schmidt of Hutchinson, Berniece Givan of Denver, Colo.; four brothers, Isaac and Annie Louise Harms of Bella Vista, Ark., Alvin and Ann Ruth Harms of Ulysses, Johnny Harms of Mena, Ark., and Clarence and Mary Ann Harms of New Wilmington, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
