Children can still sign up for Storytime

Though registration for Storytime at the Hillsboro Public Library began Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the Hillsboro Public Library, parents can still register their children for future sessions.

Storytime is a 45-minute period during which 3-year-olds through kindergartners can have stories read to them and engage in activities that follow the theme of the day.

The new session of Storytime will run from Wednesday, Jan. 17, through April 26. The class periods on Wednesdays will run from 10:15 to 11 a.m. and 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. The class on Thursday will run from 10:15 to 11 a.m.

The activity is limited to 12 children per class. The charge is $2 for each child.

Parents are encouraged to enroll their children soon to ensure a place for them in the class.
