Dan M. Suderman, 93, Hillsboro, died Dec. 14 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. He was a retired farmer and stockman.
Burial was Monday, Dec. 18 at the Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church cemetery. A memorial service followed at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with Bruce Porter officiating.
Suderman was born Aug. 22, 1907, to Nicholas Suderman and Helen Stelting in Hillsboro. He married Edna Harder, who predeceased him in 1976. He married Viola Larson Baker on Nov. 27, 1981, in Hillsboro, who survives.
He is also survived by three sons, Art Suderman and wife, Harriet, rural Hillsboro; Dale Suderman, Chicago, Ill.; Ron Suderman and wife, Sharon, rural Hillsboro; three step-sons, Ray Baker and wife Ginger, Morena Valley, Calif.; Jim Baker and wife, Elaine, Hillsboro; Curtis Baker and wife Diane, Lexington, N.C.; a daughter, Elva Suderman, Hillsboro; and a sister, Esther Hiebert, Hillsboro. There are 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established for Parkside Homes.
