Steve Garrett has completed his first month as our new city administrator. If you haven’t had a chance to meet him yet, consider yourself encouraged to do so. Among his many positive qualities is how personable and approachable he is. He’s a genuinely nice guy, but he also appears to be a committed and competent manager of small-town resources. That combination bodes well for all of us.

Communication seems to be his forte and his goal. That’s exactly what we need. And it’s also what we should offer to him, too.

We look forward to a long partnership.
