James Anderson, Galva, attended the annual Agriculture Future of America Leaders Conference Nov. 2-5 at the Marriott Downtown in Kansas City, Mo.
During the conference, nationally prominent leaders in agriculture production, government, and industry presented college students with personal and professional skills they could use to build their careers in agriculture.
AFA is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1996 to promote leadership, scholarship, and internship opportunities for students in rural communities who are interested in agriculture.
Hillsboro has been involved with AFA since 1999 and, through local support and donations, has provided one college and leader scholarship.
