Roth named to international band

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN
Jessie Roth, a senior at Hesston High School, was selected to perform in the Western International Band Clinic, International Honor Band, to be held Nov. 17-20 in Seattle, Wash.



More than 1,000 high school students from the United States and Canada auditioned for the bands. Students were placed into four bands.



Roth was chosen to be a part of the top band, and will sit in the 11th chair of the flute section.



Roth is the granddaughter of Wilmer and Hildegard Thiessen, Hillsboro.
