“American Education Week” will be celebrated Nov. 13-17. During the week, Hillsboro Middle School will have several activities designed to give relatives a chance to visit their children’s school.
Monday will be designated “Grapes for Grandparents Day.” Grandparents are welcome this day for some tasty fruit and a chance to join their grandchildren for a class visit.
Also on Monday, the library will be celebrating “Book Week” with a guest speaker.
Tuesday, Nov. 14, will be “Muffins for Moms Day.” Middle school mothers are invited to come to school for a muffin and chance to visit their child during one of their classes.
Friday, Nov. 17, will be “Donuts for Dads Day.” Fathers will be invited for doughnuts and a chance to join their child in class.
Classes will be conducted as normal as possible on those days so that relatives can see the educational process at work.
