EDITORIAL: A long dry run

It rained Sunday night-a full inch, they tell us. That’s worth a prayer of thanks just for the reminder of what rain actually is. Wheat that is sown will have enough moisture to sprout now, but the ground is still truly dry just below the surface. Much more rain will be needed to return us to a “normal” state of existence.



So keep asking for more. Don’t give up asking God for another serving.
