Bill and Kami Froese, Canton, announce the birth of a daughter, Layci KaAnn, born Oct. 2 at the Newton Medical Center.
She weighed 8 pounds, 71/2 half ounces and was 181/2 inches long.
Layci has a brother, Kellen, who is 3 years old.
The maternal grandparents are Jerol and DeLome Schmidt, Newton. Maternal great grandparents are Susan Schmidt, Newton, and Fred and Edna Schmidt, Hesston.
Paternal grandparents are Waldo and Doris Froese, Inman.
