Don and Jane Hiebert, rural Newton, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Marjean of Imperial, Neb. to Chad Deines, also of Imperial and son of Larry and Audrey Deines, rural Wakeeney.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Goessel High School, Garden City Community College and Kansas State University. She is employed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an extension assistant for the 4-H and youth programs in the Southwest Four.
The future groom is a graduate of Trego Community High School and Fort Hays State University. He is an agronomist for UAP Ag Service in Imperial.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 18, at the Goessel Mennonite Church, Goessel.
