Hillsboro Library closed for carpeting

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN
The Hillsboro Public Library will remain closed for a recarpeting project.

The original plan was for the library to be closed from Saturday, Sept. 23 through Monday, Oct. 2. Due to circumstances beyond staff’s control, the library will remain closed longer than Oct. 3.

Patrons with library materials due on Oct. 3 may return them in the book drop or keep them until the library reopens. All fines will be waived.

Cathy Fish, head librarian, said the staff is sorry for the inconvenience and thanks the public for its patience.

Please watch next week’s paper for the date of reopening.
