The Marion County Genealogical Society will hold its first fall meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 25, at the Marion Presbyterian Church located on the corner of Elm and Lawrence in Marion.
The evening’s program will be a video about Ellis Island, the New York port of entry for millions of immigrants coming to America to start a new life.
Anyone interested in or curious about their family history is invited to attend MCGS meetings, which are held on the fourth Monday of the month.
