Kellers to celebrate golden anniversary

Roy and Jean Keller, Hillsboro, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends for a program and celebration from 3 to 5:30 p.m, Sunday, Sept. 3, at the Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, Family Life Center. The program will begin at 3:30 p.m.



The Kellers were married Sept. 3, 1950, in Wichita.



Retired from 32 years as a pastor with the Free Methodist Church, Roy is now serving Parkview as visitation pastor for senior citizens. Jean retired from two years as director at Grand Oaks Apartments in Hillsboro and is now a homemaker.



The celebration is hosted by their children, Robert Keller and wife Tracy, Dover; daughter Janice and husband Randy Claassen, Hillsboro; daughter Beverly and husband Stephen Rue, Wichita; and their 11 grandchildren and three foster grandchildren.
