The Goessel Lions Club will have Ted Schultz as a guest speaker at their meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 5. He will be speaking about the Coop Team Alliance.
As a public service for the community, the club will be sponsoring two town meetings for the candidates running in the November election.
Candidates for state offices will gather at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 2 at the Goessel High School auditorium. Candidates for county offices will participate at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 16, at the same location.
