Suzanne Hett, Newton, and Grant Siemens, Newton, were married at 2 p.m., June 17, in a double-ring ceremony.
Duane Yoder, uncle of the groom, and Kent Rogers, pastor of the groom, officiated.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Trinity Mennonite Church on June 16, hosted by the groom’s parents, Dennis and Martha Siemens, Newton.
The bride is the daughter of Alvin and Arlene Hett, Hillsboro.
Maid of honor was Julie Hett, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Audrey Hodgson, sister of the bride and Erin Siemens, sister of the groom.
Best man was Ben Yoder, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Ed Yoder, cousin of the groom, and Mark Diller, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Brent Martens, Lee Smith, Tyler Hoopes and Michael Widener.
Gift carriers were Chelsea Gronau, cousin of the groom, and Sarah Unruh, friend of the bride.
Musicians were Connie Galle, organist, and Erin Siemens, soloist.
The flower girl was Lilli Peters, cousin of the bride. The candlelighter was Kevin Hett, brother of the bride.
A dinner reception was held following the ceremony at the Trinity Mennonite Church. Serving as hostesses were Leah Dains and Suzanne Linton, aunts of the groom.
Reception assistants were Vi Klassen, Sharolyn Funk, Barb Unruh, Nancy Kaufman, Lynette Penner, Pati Funk and Kala Nickel.
The bride is a graduate of Hillsboro High and Hesston College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Central Care Cancer Center in Newton.
The groom graduated from Hesston High School and Hesston College and is attending Bethel College. He is employed at Newton Auto Supply.
Following a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Newton.
