DEATHS: Hilda Jantz, 99

Hilda Jantz, 99, a homemaker, died Aug. 15 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.



The funeral was held Friday, Aug. 18, at the Rosebank Brethren in Christ Church in rural Hope, with Charles Norman officiating.



She was buried in the Peace Valley Cemetery near rural Durham.



Jantz was born April 9, 1901, to Andrew and Susie Koehn Ratzlaff in McPherson County. On Oct. 21, 1922, she was married to Willie H. Jantz, who predeceased her in 1975.



She is survived by two daughters, Phoebe Engle of Thomas, Okla., and Amy Myers of Apple Valley, Calif.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.



A memorial has been established with Rosebank Brethren in Christ Church.
