MHS grad to address LMC graduates

Matt Wineinger, a Marion High School graduate who is a vice president with Excel Corporation, will be the speaker Aug. 29 at the Leadership Marion County graduation dinner.



Wineinger graduated from MHS in 1984. He was Kansas FFA Secretary in 1984-85. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1988 with a degree in animal science.



He has worked in sales and marketing of agricultural products. In January he was named vice president for meat solutions marketing for Excel Corporation, a Cargill business.



The dinner is at 7 p.m. with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Both will be at the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center on the Tabor College campus.



The dinner is open to the public but reservations are required. Reservations are due Monday and may be sent to Carla Hajek, 1422 330th, Tampa KS 67483. Payment of $8 per meal must accompany reservation. The meal starts at 7 p.m. with a reception at 6:30 p.m.



Class members are Laura Legg, Tampa; Thomas Alstrom, Peabody; Donna Bernhardt, Jeff Cady and Marty Fredrickson, all of Marion; Cari Garbo, Tammy Nickel and Troy Wedel, Hillsboro.
