Homer Enns, 68, Hillsboro dairy farmer for 48 years, died July 31 at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at Trinity Mennonite Church with Paul and Grace Bruner officiating. Burial was at Johannestal Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
He was born Nov. 27, 1931, to Jacob and Sara Klassen Enns at Hillsboro. On Aug. 3, 1952, he was married to Louetta “Letty” Enns, who survives.
He is also survived by a son, Richard G. and wife Debbie of Hillsboro; a daughter, Christine and husband Jay Steiner of Albany, Ore.; a brother, Lauren W. Enns and wife Louetta of Hillsboro; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Mennonite Central Committee or Children’s Haven International.
