The Marion County Fair clean-up is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 3.
The public is invited to help prepare the fairgrounds for the four-day family event set for Aug. 9 through 12.
Fair officials also remind any individual or organization interested in participating in the parade Aug. 9 to contact the Chamber of Commerce at 947-3114.
For safety reasons, candy and other items are not allowed to be thrown from vehicles during the parade.
