ORIGINALLY WRITTEN CAROL HINES – NEWTON
Just wanted to let you know I enjoy reading your paper. I especially like Cheryl Jost’s Real Cooking column. I just finished looking through the July 5 issue. By the way, Cheryl, we always referred to “head groggies” as “brain freeze!”
I also enjoy reading Partly Nonsense by Joel Klaassen. Joel, in a past issue you figured how much paint it took to stripe the 13-Mile (Indigo) Road. If I remember right-10 years ago I used to work at Sherwin-Williams-traffic marking paint only has a coverage of 100 square feet per gallon.
So it probably took four times the paint you figured!
Keep up the good work.
