Area public invited to count butterflies

The Kauffman Museum at Bethel College invites people of all ages to a butterfly count, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., July 15.

Participants will meet at Kauffman Museum and spend a whole day or half a day taking part in a program developed by the North American Butterfly Association (NABA).

The count will provide results for scientific monitoring of butterflies.

There is a $3 fee for those over 12 years of age that will go to the NABA. Whole-day participants should bring sack lunches. For more information, call Kauffman Museum at 316-283-1612.
