Stone City Cafe in Marion has been named the 2000 recipient of the “Feeding the World Partnership Award” sponsored by Marion County Farm Bureau.
The program, in its fourth year, tries to recognize area businesses that have exhibited care and pride in distributing quality commodities produced by Kansas ranchers and farmers.
“We are proud to have partners like Stone City Cafe, which share our belief in the importance of providing the most nutritious, safe and affordable food supply to Kansas and the world,” said Dennis Krause, MCFB president.
Stone City owners, Donna Boone and Debbie Cook, will receive a plaque for their efforts at the organization’s annual meeting and dinner.
