The Aulne United Methodist Church will be celebrating its 125th birthday Sunday, July 2. The day-long celebration combines the church?s anniversary events with annual Fourth of July activities.

The celebration begins with Sunday school at 9 a.m., followed by a worship service at 10 and a basket dinner at noon. People need to bring their own table service to the dinner.

Past and present members and ministers, as well as friends and family, will have time to visit and get reacquainted from 4 to 5 p.m.

Following that, a light supper will be served.

A gospel program featuring Bob (Delk) and the Boys will start at 7 p.m., followed by an ice cream social at 8 p.m. The celebration will conclude with fireworks at 9:45 p.m.
