Eileen Sieger, Marion, completed the 2000 Kansas Health Foundation
Leadership Institute, held June 7 – 9.
The institute featured experts from children?s programs in Kansas and
across the county. The theme was ?Children: Our Best Investment.?
The invitation-only institute provided a high-profile panel of
national and regional experts on various children?s health topics for
about 250 community leaders in Kansas. It was started eight years ago
to help Kansans better serve the health needs of their communities.
Each year, the foundation awards more than $20 million in three major
funding categories, including public health, leadership and children?s
