Diana Koslowsky of Hillsboro has been selected to serve as a summer
intern in Hutchinson office of Congressman Jerry Moran.
?Diana?s background, matched with her impressive academic record at
Tabor makes her an outstanding candidate for an internship,? Moran
said. ?She brings her character and work ethic and the desire for a
greater future for Kansas.?
Koslowsky is a 1997 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She is
currently pursuing a degree in business administration at Tabor
College and is scheduled to graduate in 2001. She also has been
employed part-time at the Hillsboro Free Press.
Throughout her years in college, Koslowsky has been involved in
numerous programs and organizations. Among these are her position as
Student Senate treasurer and her recent participation in the Western
European Study Tour, which took her across Europe to study different
countries and their customs.
?I first developed an interest in politics after hearing Congressman
Moran?s commencement speech at Tabor several years ago,? Koslowsky
said. ?That makes it an honor to be selected and have a chance to work
for him. I?m looking forward to it, and I know it will be a great
experience.?
While in Hutchinson, Koslowsky will assist Moran and his staff with
legislative and administrative duties on behalf of the people of
Kansas?s First Congressional District.
Koslowsky is the daughter of Ken and Carla Koslowsk
