Brubacher, Ratzlaff picked Class 3A baseball honors

Two members of the Hillsboro High School baseball team were picked for

all-state honors by Class 3A coaches.



Grant Brubacher, the Trojans? junior short stop was picked for the

first team while Tyson Ratzlaff, playing his first year of baseball as

a senior, was picked second-team second baseman.



Brubacher led his team in hitting with a .552 average, including a

team-leading five home runs, three triples and 29 runs batted in. He

finished with a .970 slugging percentage and .677 on-base percentage.



Brubacher had a fielding percentage of .884.



Ratzlaff, meanwhile, batted .426, sixth highest average on the team.

He had five doubles and 16 RBIs for the Trojans.
