I was in the backyard looking at how rough our trees are getting. I
also noticed how high the branches are that need trimming. Then I
got
this idea.
I wonder if monkeys could be trained to use a tree saw. You could
just
have them climb up there and cut down what needs done. It would be
so
simple.
And as long as I?m wishing, why not add an elephant to haul the
stuff
away. They?d probably work for peanuts, too!

It?s time to get out the old yearbooks and do a little preparation
for
the all-school class reunion this Saturday. If you can?t find your
yearbook, the group class photos are still hanging on the wall in
the
hall where they always were.

The secret to staying slim is to eat off of small plates.

Dessert usually comes on a small plate. I was trying to remember a
time
when I turned down dessert, but couldn?t think of any.
I even heard this week that some people have dessert after
breakfast.

There are always people who never forget a face but can?t always
put a
name with it. And there are those who are good at names but can?t
remember faces.
Maybe they should get together and try to help each other out.

It?s a little early for Father?s Day, but I?ve been thinking a
little
more than normal about my dad. It?s hard to believe, but he died
10
years ago this week.
Even though I felt his death was unfair at the time, I have
accepted
that he is gone and that dying is part of living. Still, there are
so
many times I wish he was here. Yet I know that I am not the only
one
who has endured a loss in this way. I am glad I had him as long as
I
did.
The good thing is that his memory, and all of the things we did,
and
many of life?s lessons gained from a father/son r
