Ronald Hett, 85, farmer, died May 7 at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., May 11, at Aulne United Methodist
Church, with Rev. Steve Thaden officiating. Burial will be at Claney
Cemetery, rural Marion.
He was born Nov. 15, 1914 to John and Rene Conyers Hett in Marion
County. On Nov. 15, 1936, he was married to Ruby Just, who survives
him.
Survivors include sons Willard of Marion and Clifford of Peabody;
daughters, Janie Meierhoff of Marion, Louise Whiteman of Marion and
Alice Nellans of Peabody; brothers, James and John, both of Marion;
sisters, Iva Unruh and Ellen Darrow, both of Marion; 14 grandchildren;
and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Aulne United Methodist
