Velma Lorraine Harms Fast, 68, retired teacher, died April 7 at the Windom Area Hospital, Windom, Minn.



Services were held April 11 at Alliance Missionary Church, Mountain Lake, Minn., with Pastors Byron Emmert and Dennis Siebert officiating. Burial was at Mountain Lake Cemetery.



She was born Oct. 22, 1931 to Leonard O. and Martha Penner Harms in Spokane, Wash. On May 27, 1955, she was married to Alvin Jacob ?Bud? Fast, who survives her.



Survivors include sons, Jerry and his wife Kimberly of Fairmont and Tim of Windom; a daughter, Becky of Lawrence; sisters, Ruth Wiebe of Wichita and Lillian Leppke and her husband Elmer of Marion; brothers, Sylvester and his wife Alice of Hillsboro, Irvin and his wife Evelyn of Moundridge and Willard and his wife Ruby of Peabody; and three grandchildren.
