Centre star signs with Seward County

Erica Hatterman, an all-state guard from Centre High School, signed a letter of intent Thursday to play basketball with Seward County Community College in Liberal. She is pictured here flanked by her high school coach, Greg Wyatt (left), and Seward?s head coach, Jim Littell. Standing behind her are her parents, Brian and Nancy Hatterman of Lost Springs. The 5-7 guard averaged more than 20 points a game this season and was a four-year varsity player. Her post-season honors include first team All-Eisenhower League and first team All-Area Class 1A and third team All-Area All Classes by the Salina Journal. She was also chosen second team all-state by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, third team all area by the Topeka Capital Journal and honorable mention all-state by the Wichita Eagle. KD-Country radio and the Hillsboro Free Press also selected her for area honors. Hatterman has been named to three statewide all-star games.
