Heritage Park starts season March 1

The Hillsboro Heritage Park will open for the season March 1.



The park, which includes the Pioneer Adobe House, Friesen Mill, Kreutziger School and visitor center, will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday and 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.



Admission fees are $2 for adults and $1 for students. Tour groups and schools should make appointments for visitation a week in advance. For appointments, call 947-3775.



Tours begin at the visitor center/museum gift shop west of the pond. Parking is provided in front of the visitor center on Memorial Drive.
