DEATHS: Rosena Schmidt, 88

Rosena Schmidt, 88, homemaker, died Feb. 24 at Moundridge Manor.



Services were held Feb. 28 at the Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Galva, with Herman Nightingale and Roger Unruh officiating. Burial was at Lone Tree Church Cemetery.



She was born Nov. 29, 1911, to Henry Sebrandt and Mary Koehn in Cement, Okla. On March 7, 1937, she was married to Norman Schmidt, who predeceased her.



Survivors include a son, Willard of Moundridge; two daughters, Audrey McConkey of Gypsum and Mary Jean Koehn of Moundridge; two sisters, Lorene Koehn of Newton and Imogene Hall of Pasco, Wash.; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.



A memorial fund has been established for Moundridge Manor in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.
