DEATHS: Willard Gehring, 72

Willard ?Bill? G. Gehring, 72, former employee of Hay and Forage and volunteer worker at the Et Cetera Shop, died Feb. 4 at Hutchinson Hospital.

Services were held at Eden Mennonite Church, rural Moundridge, with Lee Lever officiating. A graveside service was held at Eden Church Cemetery.

He was born April 7, 1927 to Elim J.C. Gehring and Goldie Schwartz in Harvey County. On Oct. 18, 1956, he was married to Lenora Funk, who survives him.

He is also survived by two sons, Stewart of Chicago and Richard of Manhattan; a daughter, Ruth Goering of Valley Center; four brothers, Marvin of Whitewater, Jake of Buhler, Wayne of Buhler and Harvey of South Hutchinson; a sister, Twilla Stucky of Hesston; and six grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for Mennonite Central Committee in care of Moundridge Funeral Home.
