Hillsboro High School graduate Nolan Frantz is one of two athletes to sign letters of intent to play baseball for Tabor College.
Frantz, a pitcher and outfielder, is transferring to Tabor from Kansas State University. He will be joining his brother, Austin, a freshman pitcher on the Bluejays? squad.
The other athlete to sign on for baseball is Sean Bechtold, Newkirk, Okla. A 6-0 infielder and pitcher, Bechtold red-shirted last year for Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Okla.
?Sean is a versatile ballplayer who could help us on the mound, in the infield and at the plate,? said Gary Myers, head coach. ?He has three years of eligibility remaining and we look forward to having him in our program.?
